HolyCode Cloud — Refund & Cancellation Policy
Seller: TigerPoint Technologies LLC ("TigerPoint," "we," "us," "our") Product: HolyCode Cloud (the "Service") Last updated: 2026-07-10 · Effective: July 14, 2026
Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the full terms below):
- Not happy in your first 7 days? Ask for your money back. One refund per customer, first paid term only.
- We provision your workstation by hand and aim to deliver it within 24 hours after your payment settles and you've given us any setup details we need. If we miss that and you don't want to keep waiting, you get a full refund.
- Cancel anytime, yourself, in the billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't refund unused time after the 7-day window (except where the law requires it).
- When your subscription ends, you have 7 days to export your data, then we begin deleting it (including backups).
- Your AI usage (Claude, OpenAI, Google, etc.) is billed by that provider on your own key. We never charge it and can't refund it.
This policy applies to individual monthly plans (Lite, Plus, Pro, Ultra, Max). Annual plans are not offered during the beta. Team plans are not yet available; when they launch they will be sold concierge under a separate signed agreement, with refunds handled per that agreement — you cannot self-checkout a team plan today. All prices and refunds are in U.S. dollars.
Eligibility (beta). During the beta, HolyCode Cloud is available to customers in the United States only. Stripe Checkout restricts purchases to U.S. billing details.
HolyCode Cloud is offered as early access. We do not offer an uptime guarantee or service-level agreement during the beta (see Section 6).
Precedence. This Refund & Cancellation Policy controls all questions about refunds and cancellations. On any other topic, if this policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
1. The 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Instead of a free trial, every new customer gets a 7-day money-back guarantee on their first paid subscription term.
What qualifies
- You are a new customer requesting a refund of your first payment for your first subscription.
- Your request reaches us within 7 days of your workspace's delivery date — the date we send your welcome email (the email containing your working workspace URL) — for any reason. You don't have to justify it.
- One refund per customer, first term only. It does not apply to renewal payments or to a plan you've already been refunded for.
How to request Email support@holycode.cloud from the email address on your account, or reply to your welcome email, and tell us you'd like your money back. That's it.
Timeframe and method
- We'll confirm and start the refund promptly, typically within a few business days of your request.
- We refund the amount you paid to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear.
What happens to your workspace When your refund is issued, your subscription ends and your workspace is scheduled for deletion under Section 4. If you want a copy of anything in it, export it (or ask us to export it for you) before or during the 7-day export window.
2. The 24-Hour Provisioning Promise
At launch we set up each workstation by hand.
We aim to deliver your workspace within 24 hours after (a) your payment settles and (b) you have given us any setup details we need. If we have not delivered by then and you do not want to keep waiting, you get a full refund.
- "Delivered" means we have sent your welcome email containing a working workspace URL.
- "Payment settles" means Stripe confirms your payment as settled (the
invoice.paidevent), which can be shortly after checkout completes — the 24-hour clock runs from settlement, not from the checkout click. - If we need setup details from you to build your workspace (for example, your preferred region or subdomain name), the clock does not start until you've given us what we need. We'll tell you clearly if we're waiting on you.
- To claim this refund, email support@holycode.cloud; we process it under the same timeframe as Section 1.
This promise is separate from, and in addition to, the 7-day guarantee in Section 1.
3. Cancel Anytime
You can cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation is self-serve.
- Primary method: cancel yourself in the Stripe Customer Portal (the "Manage billing" link in your account and in your receipts). It is always available and stops your next renewal.
- Fallback: if you can't reach the portal, email support@holycode.cloud and we'll cancel for you.
How cancellation works
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It is not an instant shut-off.
- You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. For example, if you cancel on day 10 of a monthly plan, you keep your workspace through the end of that paid month.
- No proration and no partial refunds for the unused part of a paid period, and partial months are not refunded, except (a) under the 7-day guarantee (Section 1), (b) under the 24-hour promise (Section 2), or (c) where applicable law requires it.
- After your paid period ends, your data is handled under Section 4.
Recurring billing and price changes. Your plan is monthly and auto-renews. We disclose this at checkout in plain language — for example, "$X/mo, auto-renews monthly until you cancel, cancel anytime." If we change the price of your plan, we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice before the change takes effect on a renewal, so you can cancel first if you don't want to continue.
4. What Happens to Your Data When Your Subscription Ends
We store your account email and your workspace data (your code, files, and settings) on a persistent volume tied to your workspace. Each plan includes best-effort automatic backups, retained for a window that depends on your tier (from 7 days on Lite up to 90 days on Max). Backups are a convenience to help with recovery; we do not guarantee that any particular file or backup will be recoverable.
When your subscription ends — whether you cancel, take a refund, or we stop the Service — the following applies:
- 7-day export window. For 7 days after your paid period ends, we keep your workspace data available so you can export it. You can pull it yourself, or email support@holycode.cloud and we'll provide an archive of your workspace.
- Deletion. After the 7-day window, we initiate deletion of your workspace, its volume, and its backups, and we force-purge those backups early — overriding the normal tier retention window. Residual copies may persist in our providers' systems (for example, storage snapshots and logs) and are purged on their normal rolling cycle, up to 30 days. We do not restore data once deletion has started.
- Your keys and secrets go with it. Any API keys, tokens, or credentials you saved inside your workspace are stored only on that workspace disk (see Section 5). We do not upload or centrally store your keys, and we do not access them in the normal course of operating the service. When the workspace is deleted, they are deleted with it. We recommend you revoke or rotate any keys with your providers after you leave.
- Account records. We may retain limited account and billing records (such as your email and payment history) as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, even after your workspace data is deleted. This is separate from your workspace data and is described in our Privacy Policy at https://holycode.cloud.
If you request a refund under Section 1 or Section 2, the same 7-day export window applies from the date your subscription ends. Export anything you want to keep before that window closes.
Data-breach notification. If we become aware that your data has been materially compromised, we will notify affected customers without undue delay.
5. No Refunds for Your AI / BYOK Spend
HolyCode Cloud is Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). You supply your own AI provider account — Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google, or another — and your key or subscription lives on your own workspace disk. We do not upload or centrally store your keys, we do not access them in the normal course of operating the service, and we do not resell or mark up AI usage.
Because of this:
- We never charge you for AI tokens or model usage. That is billed to you directly by your AI provider, on your own account, separately from your HolyCode Cloud subscription.
- We cannot refund, credit, or control your AI spend. A refund from us covers your HolyCode Cloud subscription fee only — never your provider's charges.
- If you cancel or take a refund, remember to cancel or manage any AI subscriptions and revoke any API keys directly with those providers. We can't do that for you.
6. Availability, Downtime, and Early Access
HolyCode Cloud runs on third-party infrastructure and is offered as early access. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free during the beta, and we do not offer a service-level agreement (SLA).
- Downtime alone does not automatically entitle you to a refund. If you hit a problem, contact us at support@holycode.cloud and we'll work to make it right.
- Where a real service failure is our fault, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit or partial refund. This is case by case and is not a promise of compensation for any and all outages.
- If a third-party provider outage or another event beyond our reasonable control prevents us from delivering your workspace, your remedy is the refund under Section 2, not liability.
- Nothing in this section limits your rights under the 7-day guarantee (Section 1) or the 24-hour promise (Section 2).
7. Billing Problems, Disputes, and Chargebacks
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first at support@holycode.cloud. Most issues are faster to fix directly than through a card dispute, and we genuinely want to sort them out.
- Filing a chargeback on a service we have already delivered, outside the 7-day money-back window (Section 1) and the 24-hour promise (Section 2), is a breach of these terms. In that case we may suspend your workstation while the dispute is open, and, if the dispute is resolved against you or the abuse continues, terminate your account and delete your data.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for fraudulent chargebacks or abuse of these refund terms (for example, repeatedly buying and refunding to get free access).
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service grows out of beta. Changes apply going forward from the "Last updated" date at the top and do not retroactively remove a refund right you had already earned. Material changes will be posted at https://holycode.cloud.
